O filme é bom, muito bom para falar a verdade, eu acho que foi um filme fiel ao livro, meu personagem favorito é o que fica apenas observando, narrando de forma surpreendente e envolvente, a morte. O figurino é incrível, as falas foram colocadas em cenas as mais importantes do livro, e aborda também o tema principal do livro que é o nazismo, mas sem aprofundar muito.
Liesel foi abandonada pela mãe na casa de Hans e Rosa, logo depois que seu irmão morreu, assim, foi a primeira vez que ela encontrou com a morte. Desde o primeiro encontro, a morte ficou enfeitiçada por aquela menina e resolveu contar sua história, que foi sempre muito sofrida. A vida de Liesel e sua família adotiva, fica ainda mais complicada depois que Max chega em sua casa, um Judeu...
Não se tornou um filme favorito, que me faz suspirar e falar dele a cada segundo, ou recomendá-lo como melhor filme que já assisti. Talvez não tenha se tornado meu favorito por eu esperar muito do filme, pelo livro ser meu favorito. Mas é um filme que recomendo muito, um filme para assistir e se emocionar com a cena final. Mas antes de tudo, recomendo a leitura do livro antes do filme.
